Located in Central Region of Ghana, about 20 kilometers north of Cape Coast, Kakum National Park covers 360 square kilometers of Ghana’s rapidly dwindling rainforest. The forest is home to over 40 species of larger mammals including forest elephants, forest buffalo, Mona-meerkats and civets.
